Gala Volunteers
Thank you for volunteering for The 31st Annual Cancer Challenge/Gala Volunteers. We are so excited to be planning the Cancer Challenge Summer Social and look forward to gathering again. The event will be held at a newly opened venue - Heroncrest (off the Elm Springs exit} on Friday, June 28.
Below you will find a list of volunteer positions available. You may sign-up for the position by clicking in the box. A check mark will appear. You must sign the waiver at the bottom of the page to complete your volunteer registration.
All volunteers will receive a Cancer Challenge t-shirt and hat.

Gala Decorations
Decorate tables at Heroncrest (1579 E Lake Rd, Springdale, AR) for evening Summer Soiree (social). Lunch, snacks and beverages will be provided. Check in with Gay Prescott upon arrival.

Greet guests at evening Summer Social (casual). Check in with Gay Prescott at Heroncrest (1579 E Lake Rd, Springdale, AR) upon arrival.

Volunteers hand-picked for the Gala registration/check in and auction check out.

Silent Auction Set Up
Volunteers will help with unloading of auction items at Heroncrest. Items arranged in number order in storage room provided. Arrange tables with auction items that are marked for display.

Silent Auction Table Attendant
Volunteer will oversee auction items and make sure items on tables are secure. Answer questions regarding auction items. Assist with online registration and bidding. Secure auction area at the close of the auction. After auction concludes, verify payment and assist guests in retrieving auction items.

Silent Auction Take Down
Volunteers will move remaining auction items that have not been picked up from designated secure area at the Heroncrest venue to provided Cancer Challenge truck for transport. You may also be asked to help pack up any Cancer Challenge decorations and assist with any remaining break-down procedures.

Volunteers will take down decorations then assist with taking down auction items.
