Gala Volunteers
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for The 27th Annual Cancer Challenge/Gala Volunteers. We are saddened that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the gala will not be held this year. Thank you for signing up to volunteer and we hope you will volunteer again next year!! Miss seeing all of you. Stay well!
The morning after the Cancer Challenge gala, volunteers will help with unloading and organizing silent auction items not picked up the evening of the event. Volunteers will contact successful silent auction bidders, ask them to pick up items at Cancer Challenge office, Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm.
Decorate tables at NW Arkansas Holiday Inn Convention Center (1500 S. 48th St. in Springdale) for evening Tailgate Party (gala). Lunch, snacks and beverages will be provided. Check in with Gay Prescott.

Volunteers hand-picked for the Gala registration/check in and auction check out.
Volunteers will help with loading and unloading of auction items for transport to Convention Center, and arrange tables with auction items.
Volunteer will oversee auction items and make sure items stay on tables. Answer questions regarding auction items. Secure auction area at the close of the auction. While the auction is closed for dinner and entertainment you will be provided with dinner. After auction concludes, verify payment and assist guests in retrieving auction items.
Volunteers will move remaining auction items that have not been picked up to a designated secure area at the convention center. You may also pack up any Cancer Challenge decorations and assist with any remaining break-down procedures.
Volunteers will take down decorations then assist with taking down auction items.
